Dating Pool Reality Check
Set your partner criteria — age, height, income, education, fitness — and find out what percentage of real people actually match all of them simultaneously. Based on national census data.
How it works
- Set your location — Choose the country or region. The calculator uses census data specific to that population.
- Select target gender and age range — Pick the gender you're looking for and set an age range.
- Add criteria — Filter by height, income, education, fitness, attractiveness, relationship status, and more. Each filter narrows the pool.
- See results — Get your pool size as a percentage and a "1 in X" number, with a realism tier from Fantasy to Very Realistic.
Why this matters
The average person applies 7–12 simultaneous filters to potential partners. Even modest criteria compound quickly: requiring a partner be in the top 20% for height AND income AND education already leaves you with roughly 0.8% of the population. Reality Filter shows you the math.
Methodology
Height distributions are sourced from national health surveys (CDC, Eurostat, WHO). Income percentiles from OECD and national tax data. Education from UNESCO and national census bureaus. All filters are applied multiplicatively with population-level correlation adjustments.
